COVID-19 Update

Because of circumstances beyond my control, I must make changes to the course requirements, deadlines, and grading for the remainder of the semester.

 

Class:              Lectures are on Monday and Wednesday 9:00 – 10:15 AM

                        Lectures 15 – 26 will be delivered via WebEx

Homework assignments HW 8 – HW 12 need to be uploaded to

Blackboard as PDF files. The deadline for uploading the homework is 

11:30 on the due date (see course calendar).

                        Tuesday 2:00 – 3:00 PM (or by appointment)

 

Exams:           The second midterm exam (April 13) has been canceled. The comprehensive two-hour final exam will take place on Wednesday May 6. Detailed information regarding the exam will be announced later.

 

Grading:        Your course grade will be based on homework and exam scores, with the approximate weights:

 

                                 Homework                        35%

                                 Midterm exam                  20%

                                 Final exam                        45%
