Associate Professor Positions in "Advanced Materials" in Purdue University's College of Science and College of Engineering

The Departments in the College of Science and the Schools of Materials Engineering in the College of Engineering at Purdue University invite applicants for multiple joint faculty positions at the rank of tenured Associate Professor, with departmental appointment(s) to align with candidate’s expertise and interests. Successful candidates hired at all faculty levels as part of this University-wide cluster search will help form the core of a new interdisciplinary Center for Advanced Materials, along with an already established dynamic groups at Purdue University. Center faculty will create an interdisciplinary, globally competitive research presence in the design of new materials in which atomic and molecular-scale understanding and control of structure leads to transformative new capabilities at larger scales.

Associate Professor of Quantum Information Science

The Departments of Physics & Astronomy, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Mathematics in the College of Science, and the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the College of Engineering at Purdue University invite applications for multiple senior faculty positions in Quantum Information Science (QIS) to begin August 2024. These positions will be tenured associate/full professor level appointments. When appropriate, successful candidates may be considered for joint appointments across Departments or Colleges.

Assistant Professor of Quantum Information Science

The Departments of Physics & Astronomy, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Mathematics in the College of Science, and the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the College of Engineering at Purdue University invite applications for multiple faculty positions in Quantum Information Science (QIS) to begin August 2024. These positions will be assistant/associate professor level appointments. When appropriate, successful candidates may be considered for joint appointments across Departments or Colleges.

Lecturer

Purdue University’s Department of Physics and Astronomy is seeking a Lecturer. The successful candidates will teach calculus and algebra-based introductory physics courses at the freshman and sophomore level. The candidate will also work with staff and TAs, assist in coordinating courses, and carry out instructional goals. Start date is Jan. 8,2024. Starting academic-year salary is in the $59,488 to $63,814 range, commensurate with experience.
