PHYS349: Introduction To Quantum Computing (PAST/FUTURE SEMESTER)

Description:
This is a first course in quantum information and quantum computing, for students who have already had an introduction to quantum science. Linear algebra and some probability theory will be presented and used throughout this course. The basic postulates of quantum mechanics will motivate the applications to qubits, cryptography, quantum computation, algorithms, error correction, and other current topics.
