Updated equation sheet and final exam announcements.

Thu 02Aug2012 8:51AM

There is an updated equation sheet posted on the course website (http://www.physics.purdue.edu/academic_programs/courses/phys218/course_documents.php?ID=29).  A copy will be provided for you at the exam.

Please don't forget to fill out the course evaluation by Sunday (8/05).  Your feedback is greatly appreciated (good and bad).

The final exam is Friday 08/03 from 8:00a - 10:00a in PHYS 238.  I will be in the room at 7:30a if you would like to start early.  Please bring your Purdue ID to the exam and a calculator (without internet access).  There are at least 20 but no more than 25 questions on the exam.

Some people have asked if I will be available today to talk to them.  I will be in and out of my office this afternoon from 1:00-4:30 so just send me an email if you are needing help with something.

A conflict between CHIP and the official homework policy written in the syllabus was recently brought to our attention.  The syllabus states that "Within one week after the deadline and within 5 first attempts, you will receive 60% credit".  CHIP is currently programmed to only give 50% credit for such homework so we are now working with Dr. Saxena to fix the problem and make CHIP agree with the syllabus.
