Exam 3 Scores In Chip Sun 27Jul2008 3:23PM Exam scores are posted. The class did very poorly on the handwritten question. Thus, if you had a higher percentage on the Handwritten than on your Multiple choice, I kept it for your score. If you had a lower percentage on the Handwritten than on your Multiple choice, I just dropped the handwritten and made the Multiple choice your whole exam score.

- Exam 3 is posted on the course website, along with solutions.
- The multiple choice scores should show up sometime before Friday evening. The hand-written scores will be available by Monday morning.
- You'll get the papers back in Lecture on Monday.
Exam 3 (7/24/08) Sat 19Jul2008 5:04PM Exam 3 is this Thursday. Everything up thru Section 11.2 is covered, with the heavy emphasis on the new material. The equation sheet you'll use is posted, along with a sample exam and solutions.

The multiple choice grades have been posted. Opposing what CHIP may say, this section is out of 70 points, not 35 points. Hopefully the issue will be resolved by early next week.

Exam 2 Mon 07Jul2008 11:21AM Exam 2 is this Thursday. Everything up through (and including) Chapter 7 is covered, with the primary emphasis on material not covered in Exam I. A sample exam with solutions is now posted.

Your reading quizzes and clicker points have been uploaded into CHIP. Please double check and make sure that you are receiving points for these two categories. If you havn't been receiving points
1) Make sure that your iClicker is properly registered in CHIP.
2) Make sure that your iClicker's batteries are still good.

The first several assignments have been posted on Webassign. I encourage you to take a couple of minutes and make sure that you can access your account. If you bought a copy of Matter and Interactions (M&I) used, you will have to pay for an account to Webassign. The summer semester moves fast, so let's try to work out some of the bugs as soon as possible.
I advise buying your iClicker and a fresh set of batteries (we will be using iClickers the second day of class) before Monday. Make sure to register your iClicker on CHIP otherwise you will not receive credit for the reading quizzes and clicker questions!
Don't forget to buy a dry erase marker! You will need this in order to participate in recitation.
Lastly, make sure to start reading the first chapter of M&I so that you're prepared for lecture on Monday.
