Exam 2 will be on Wednesday July 20th from 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
The material to be covered includes: Ch.5 through Ch. 9 and all recitations, focusing on material in rec 5-10 (recitation #10 included) .
We will not have lecture on Thursday July 21th
Bring a calculator (graphing is fine) and #2 pencils. The exam will be 14 multiple choice questions and 1 handwritten question with several parts.
All relevant equations will be provided in an equation sheet similar to the practice exam 2.

We will discuss the hand graded part in class.
Your answert to the the practice exam 2 in CHIP will no count towards your grade. Keep in mind that Exam 2 from Fall 2010 does not cover energy quantization and multiparticle systems which will be covered on Exam 2 this summer. The additional practice problems 15-19 on Practice exam 2, are there to help you practice these aforementioned sections.
Exam 1
