Physics Research Credits Registration

PHYS 490 (Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors - Credits: 1 - 3), PHYS 590 (Juniors, Seniors and Graduate Students- Credits 1-6) 

*** Get approval from your professor for PHYS course (X90) Then submit request over the scheduling assistant. You will need the following info from your professor: 

• Course: PHYS 49000 (or PHYS 59000) 
• Title: <within 30 characters including spaces > 
• Credits: < 1-3 if PHYS 490, 1 -6 if PHYS 590> 
• Instructor: 
• Grade mode: <regular grade or P/NP mode> 
• Notes: Enter number of credits and name of instructor - (this serves as a double check for the departmental designee) 

Student – How to Request a Variable Title course

Go to the MyPurdue ACADEMICS tab > Detail schedule to confirm that credits (and title, professor, etc.) are correct.
