Demos: 1Q-33 Demonstration of Angular Momentum in Multiparticle Systems

This demonstration illustrates how angular momentum can be decomposed into LRot- angular momentum about the center-of-mass, and LCM,B, angular momentum of the center-of-mass about point B. These figures and demonstration are related to 10.X.11, 12, 13 on pages 340-341 of Matter & Interactions, Volume 1.

One can demonstrate rotation of the system about point B without rotation about the center-of-mass as illustrated in the figure below.

One can also illustrate both rotational terms as shown in the figure below.
