The deadline for Homework 5 has been postponed by one week.  It is now due March 17 in class.

Feb. 5 lab canceled, HW2 due Monday Feb. 10 at 10:30 am

Wed 05Feb2014 11:41AM

Purdue administrators have now canceled all classes for Wed Feb. 5.  Consequently, there is no lab today.  HW2 will be collected at the beginning of class on Monday Feb. 10 at 10:30 am.  HW3 will be posted to the course website shortly.  Enjoy the fine sledding conditions and have a great weekend.

Feb. 5 class canceled, lab still on (as of 8:40 a.m.)

Wed 05Feb2014 8:42AM

Purdue administrators have delayed the start of classes until 1 pm.  Consequently, our 10:30 am class is canceled.  As of now, 3:30 pm lab is still on.  You may hand in HW2 at the start of lab.

Jan. 22 Class and Lab Canceled; HW1 extended to Jan. 29

Wed 22Jan2014 7:55AM

I am deeply saddened by Tuesday's violence and my heart goes out to the victims, their families, and friends. Class and lab on Jan. 22 will be canceled.  The deadline for HW1 will be extended to Jan. 29.  Students who are experiencing difficulties and may need more time should feel free to speak with me.  I will be happy to provide whatever accommodations are needed.

Homework 1 Deadline Extended to Jan. 27

Wed 15Jan2014 2:38PM

I extended the deadline for HW1 to Jan. 27 at 10:30 a.m.  If you downloaded the homework prior to Jan 15, it will contain the incorrect Jan. 22 deadline.  The assignment is otherwise unchanged.
