WebAssign homework deadlines for Chap 14 and Chap 15 are both extended to 2/5, 11:59 PM.

WebAssign homework deadline for Chap 16 is 2/12, 6:59 PM, i.e. one hour before the evening exam starts. The evening exam 1 will cover material Chap 13-16.

First Week

PHYS 272H Modern Mechanics Spring 2009

To do AS SOON AS POSSIBLE:

1. Obtain the textbook (at campus bookstores; used books are OK).

2. Obtain the new PHYS 272 Laboratory Manual (from bookstore).

3. Obtain an iClicker audience response remote (not a CPS pad).

4. Register for WebAssign, the on-line homework service.

5. Register your iClicker on CHIP, your on-line PHYS 272H gradebook.

During the first week you will:

• Attend the two scheduled lectures, on Monday and Wednesday at 9:30 AM.

• Attend the Laboratory session on Tuesday (time assigned to you by the Registrar).

• Attend the Recitation session, on Friday (time assigned to you by the Registrar).

• Log in to WebAssign and complete “HW #1” by midnight Sunday, Jan 18.
