QMD members attend Midwestern Cold Atom Workshop. YPC gives a talk.

Nov 15, 2008: Several QMD members (Ping, Qianli, Sourav and Yong) with
Prof. Dan Elliott’s students drove to Argonne National Lab near
Chicago, IL to attend the 3^rd Midwestern Cold Atom
Workshop.  I gave a 30-minute
talk titled “Controlling interactions in cold atoms and molecules”.  Lots of good work from other groups in
the region (U Chicago, UIUC, OSU, Wisconsin)
and Argonne and we learned a lot.  We also toured the famous Advanced Photon Source (APS).
