Short Biography: Abdulrahman S. Alrubkhi is a graduate student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Purdue University, working in the quantum machine learning group. He holds a double bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from the University of Illinois Chicago (2022). His research studies how noise affects quantum magic (non-stabilizerness) and what this means for the trainability of quantum circuits and the prospects for quantum advantage. He is from Oman.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Physics, Purdue University (in progress, started 2024)
