Location
Purdue University is located in the city of West Lafayette, Indiana, part of a growing community served by the Purdue University Airport, and easily accessible from interstate highway I-65. West Lafayette is 100 km (65 miles) north of Indianapolis and 190 km (120 miles) south of Chicago. The Department of Physics is located on Northwestern Avenue at the northern corner of Purdue Mall and connected by an aerial walkway to the Materials and Electrical Engineering Building.
