Acids and Bases. |

The pH of the neutralized solution must be between pH 5 and pH 9 |

Other hazardous waste |

Material should be in a tightly capped container suitable for the chemicals being stored. |
|
|
A Label should be placed on the container before any waste is added to the container. |
 |
|
|
 |
The label must say "HAZARDOUS WASTE" |
|
|
 |
The label must include all constituents and the percentage of each. |
|
|
 |
Use proper names for constituents (no abbreviations or formulas). |
|
|
 |
The label must include the name of the principal investigator |
|
|
REM can supply suitable labels |
|
|
You can create your own labels as long as they contain the same information. |
