Training and housekeeping

This Administrative control provides safety information required for the job. Employees are required to participate in all required training.

1.  Much of the training is web based, and the employee must get a passing grade on all tests. There is no limit to the number of times the test may be taken.
2.  There will also be hands of training for certain tasks.
3.  There will also be training that the employee does on his/her own. This would include reading MSDS or SDS sheets for hazardous materials being used, reading the chemical hygiene plan, SOPs, and instruction manuals for equipment being used.
4.  Training must be completed before an employee begins work with hazardous materials.
5.  Housekeeping would include limiting clutter in the workplace, not blocking doors, and keeping isles passable.
