Timing of work

This Administrative control adjusts the exposure of the employee by changing the work schedule. Examples of timing of work would include:

1.  Limiting the time each day that an employee would be exposed to a radioactive source. If the work were divided between 4 employees, the exposure to each would be 1/4th.
2.  Scheduling work so that hazardous operations are done when a minimal number of other employees are present.
3.  When working at extreme temperatures, rotate different employees into the task frequently.
