Discussion at the workshop "Surface Exposure Dating in Modern Earth Sciences", held at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory on 17-19 March 2002, followed up by extensive informal correspondence, resulted in the proposed experimental design described below. We wish to emphasize that this research plan is still under development and we welcome suggestions for additional approaches.
