Prof. Chen elected an APS Fellow

Professor Yong Chen was elected by the APS Council of Representatives as Fellows of the American Physical Society. Fellowship in the APS is limited to no more than one half of one percent of the APS membership and is in recognition of outstanding contributions to physics. 

Prof. Chen was recognized “for significant contributions to the material physics of chemical vapor deposition; and to the development of intrinsic 3-D topological insulators with transport dominated by Dirac surface states.”
