Spring Meeting — April 28 & 29, 2006
DETAILS OF THE MEETING PLACE
This year’s meeting will be held in the Physics building on the Purdue University campus, located on Northwestern Avenue. Parking will become available with out cost on Friday evening, beginning at 5 p.m. and continue without cost through the sessions on Saturday in the Northwestern garage, located across the street from the Physics building. Registration and check-in will be right inside the main doors on Northwestern Avenue. If doing a computer map search, the address is 525 Northwestern Avenue, W.L. 47907.
You may find accommodations to fit your desires, ranging from superb ($109.) per night at the Union Club Hotel on campus to modest ($36.77) per night at the Family Inns of America, located approximately 5-10 blocks from the Physics building.
Registration and check-in will run from 5-6 p.m. on Friday and from 7:30-9:30 a.m. on Saturday, as follows:
$20 with meals (students $15)
$15 without meals (students $10)
Opening remarks will begin on Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m.

Interesting and Affordable Demos From The Traveling Physics FunFest
Roger Boyce will provide for inspection a number of affordable demos that he uses with the Traveling Physics Funfest. Interested teachers can take pictures, notes, and “practice” with the demos.
Bio:
Roger has worked for 37 years at Purdue University with physics lab and physics lecture room equipment. He is manager of Purdue’s lecture rooms and has been taking Physics on the Road to K-12 for 14 years. Workshops that Roger has conducted at many universities around the country have concentrated on demos that amaze and amuse audiences of all ages.
