Toxic      

Definition:
  A relative property of a material to exert a poisonous effect on humans or animals and a description of the effect and the conditions of concentration under which the effect takes place.
     
Examples:
  ammonium oxalate, calcium fluoride, copper (II) oxide,
potassium permanganate
     
Precautions:
  Wear appropriate gloves while handling these chemicals
  If an aerosol or fine dust may be produced, handle the material in a fume hood       or other means of containment.
  Store waste in appropriate containers
  PPE as required by hazard certification
     
Possible Health Effects:
  Irritation or burns to eyes or skin
  Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or death if ingested
  Respiratory distress if inhaled
     
First Aid:
  Immediately flush skin or eyes with tepid water for at least 15 minutes
  If unconscious:
    Remove victim to fresh air
    Apply CPR if appropriate
    Get medical attention
