Sample Exams posted Wed 17Sep2008 1:53PM

This semester there are two evening exams covering material that was covered in three exams last year.  Therefore part but not all of exam 2 is fair game for this year's exam 1 (which is on Wed. Oct. 1).

The material covered in our Exam 1 is up to and including Lecture 10, September 29.  This does include introductory lectures about Energy.

LOGIN PROBLEMS Tue 26Aug2008 5:45PM

AS OF LATE AFTERNOON TUESDAY, August 26, a number of you have had trouble getting into Webassign.  Two possibilities are that

1) You are registered in this (closed) course, but somehow your name has
not gotten into the Webassign registry yet.  Dr Saxena can help you (see
below).

2) If you have already established a WebAssign account in another
course this semester (say, in Mathematics), you will also need to contact
Dr. Saxena (saxena@physics.purdue.edu). He will reset your password
for your Physics 172H WebAssign account.  He will next be available on
 Wednesday morning.

Once logged into WebAssign, you will need to enter your account number that was bundled with
your Matter & Interactions text (or that you bought separately, maybe
via the Web, if you have bought a used textbook without the webassign
 certificate. )

HOW TO LOG ON TO WEBASSIGN, ETC.

Mon 25Aug2008 2:26PM
