Lucille Ball was nominated for one in "Mame". Rosalind and Lucy appeared together in the movie "Woman of Distinction". The Cornel Wilde ep of I Love Lucy was to star Van Johnson, but he was the spokesman for a rival cigarette company at the time, so they had him do another show later on! In real life, at age 17, Lucille Ball suffered from rheumatoid arthritis, being told she'd never walk again. In reel life, Lucy played a crippled show girl in the movie "The Big Street". Lucy once said of Star Trek: "How are you coming on the one about USO entertainers? You know, "Star Trek". (She thought UFO was USO.) She went on to be the one to get Star Trek on the air. AND years later, her son-in-law Laurence Luckinbill played Spock's brother Sybok in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. Tracy Nelson played a child in "Yours Mine and Ours" with Lucille ball. Tom Bosley played the doctor. Later on, Tracy Nelson and Tom Bosley appeared in the series "Father Dowling Mysteries". The Borden Twins (Marilyn and Roz) known as "Teensy and Weensy" on ILL, have a talk show that is shown in Hayward, a suburb of San Francisco. They own a travel business also: "The Borden Twins Cruise Tours". 1-800-666-TWINS. Kathryn Card may have played the housekeeper (Mrs. Papernow) on the Charlie Farrell Show. In "The Fur Coat" Ricky says "Lucy, I'm home!" Lucy's dress in Vitameatavegamin is blue and white checks. It's rumored that one of the couches used in the Ricardos' living room was white, with black grey and orange. Larry Orenstein wrote the music for "Lucy Goes to Scotland" and appears as Mayor Ferguson in this episode. He also wrote "Nobody Loves the Ump".
