The ISRM Commission on the Application of Geophysics in Rock Engineering is holding the 2nd International Workshop on the Application of Geophysics to Rock Engineering on Tuesday August 24, 1999 at the Palais des Congres in Paris.  This workshop will be held at the same venue as the ISRM 9th International Congress on Rock Mechanics

The presentations at the workshop will include field studies, laboratory studies, and recent theoretical advances in characterizing cracked and fractured rock.  Below is the program for the workshop.

Registration:

The registration fee for the workshop is $50 (US).  The registration fee should be sent directly to Prof. L. J. Pyrak-Nolte at the address listed below with the registration form or payment can be made at the workshop.
