Latest Research News: the difference between cuprates and iron-based superconductors
In the beginning of this May, we predicted that the magnetic exchange leads to unconventional s-wave cos(kx)cos(ky) pairing symmetry in iron-based superdoncutors, unlike in cuprates where magnetic exchange coupling favors a d-wave (coskx-cosky) pairing symmetry. This prediction has been supported by recent ARPES experiments although more tests are required.
