"Herstory" of Women in Science
Spotlight Scientist

WiP's Spotlight Scientist

Women in Physics started Spotlight Scientist in the 1998 Spring Semester. It is simultaneously displayed on this web page and on a bulletin board on the second floor of the Physics Building. The goal is to educate and inform people about women's important contributions to the field of science. A new Spotlight Scientist is presented eight times a year: February, March, April, Summer, September, October, November, and Winter.

The Current Spotlight Scientist

Inge Lehmann is the Spotlight Scientist for the summer of 1998. We hope you enjoy reading about her life and achievements as a scientist.
