"Herstory" of Women in Science
Spotlight Scientist

September 14, 1995

Julie Peterson suggested creating display cases for Women in Physics. Such cases would include information on WiP, pictures from previous events, descriptions of the research interests of our members, etc.

Jim White, WiP's secretary, passed around a list for attendees to sign for inclusion on WiP's e-mail distribution list. The list is used primarily to announce upcoming events of interest and distribute meeting minutes.

Our guest speaker, Dr. Arnold Tubis, was introduced next and gave an overview of his path to Purdue culminating in a talk on his current areas of interest and research, musical acoustics and otoacoustic emissions.
