What Does Physics FunFests Do?

Physics FunFests offers the youth of the community an oppurtunity to observe physics in action. The FunFests travel to area elementary and high schools to perform visually impacting demonstrations illustrating concepts of motion, sound, heat, light, magnetism, and electricty. The goal is to promote the pursuit of physics as both an exciting and approachable endeavor.

Physics FunFests is similar to ScienceScape in many respects, but more compact in approach and duration. The FunFests are offered by Women in Physics, with the material support of Purdue's Department of Physics.
