In my talk, I will discuss atom-photon, photon-photon, and atom-atom entanglement properties.
Recent developments of quantum computation as well as quantum information and communication have attracted much interest in the generation of these entanglements in the laboratory. I will first talk about atom-photon and photon-photon entanglement generation based on cavity QED. Then I will talk about the atom-atom entanglement properties in a 1D harmonic trap and in a cylindrical harmonic trap. Finally I will present detailed discussion on the spin mixing between two spin-1 Rb87 atoms in a single lattice site. The topic is emphasized on various motional state approximations and dipolar effect. The spin mixing of spin-2 manifold will also be discussed.
