Novel Effects Due to Spin-Charge Coupling

I will discuss new and old (but not resolved until now) effects due to spin-orbit interactions arising when the electric current is flowing through a metal or semiconductor. I will also present the solution of the half a century old puzzle of the Anomalous Hall Effect.
