Hog roast

The much-anticipated annual pig roast took place on a warm Saturday in October. A few of our members graciously offered to host the event in their backyard, and we will always be grateful to the enthusiastic volunteers who put in several hours of effort to cook the pig. Of course, we had plenty of options for students and professors who had different food preferences or chose not to trust the culinary skills of our volunteers! It was a great opportunity for graduate students, professors and their families to enjoy the day outdoors and catch up over some good food. The pig was big enough that attendees got to take home leftovers to enjoy over the next couple of days!
