PAL users: need to update to new security certificate

On Tuesday, July 10, ItaP will be making a change in their security certificates for PAL. If not properly updated some users may find that they can no longer authenticate to PAL. The wireless configuration on your device must be updated in order to allow you to connect to PAL with the new PAL security certificate.

To prevent disruption of PAL, ITaP is asking users to delete their current PAL configuration and to configure their setup as they did when they first connected to PAL using "Xpressconnect." To do this in the PHYS building using PAL 2.0, connect to the “PAL2.0-Instructions” network, open a web browser, and follow the given instructions. (Android users will need to first download the “Xpressconnect” App from Google Play.) The new security certificate is already embedded in the Xpressconnect PAL settings so this procedure can be done immediately to avoid any loss in PAL connectivity when the changeover takes place on Tuesday.
