TOPScience.org provides you with an award-winnning science magazine and a source of all sorts of hands-on, inquiry learning activities for K-12. Each book of activities covers a concept and a grade range suitable for the variation of abilities in classrooms.
The curriculum developer, Ron Marson, supervised student teaching in West Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer. That's where he first learned to make do with limited resources, using local materials to teach his classes. This makes hands-on, inquiry activities available for all classrooms, even when budgets don't allow equipment.
SIS is a unique service providing materials about giftedness and gifted education toresidents throughout Indiana. Parents and teachers of gifted children, as well as the children themselves, can find materials that are both useful and interesting. Indiana is the only state in the union to have such a service. SIS will send materials free of charge. The only cost to the user is the return postage for items that have been checked out.
AIMS is an acronym for Activities Integrating Math and Sciences. The mission of AIMS Education Foundation is to enrich the education of students in grades K-9 through hands-on activities that integrate mathematics, science, technology, and other disciplines. AIMS is a /standards-based program / that implements the recommendations put forth in major reform documents such as Benchmarks for Science Literacy.

The Private Eye is a program about the drama and wonder of looking closely at the world, thinking by analogy, changing scale and theorizing. Designed to develop higher order thinking skills, creativity and scientific literacy - across subjects, it's based on a simple set of "tools" that produce "gifted results". Hands-on, investigative, The Private Eye - using everyday objects, a jeweler's loupe, and simple questions - accelerates science, writing, art, math, social studies and more. It builds communication, problem solving, and concentration skills. For K-16 through life, all levels, The Private Eye develops "the interdisciplinary mind".
