- Marla Glover, Cheryl McLean, and Tracy Hood joined as Associate Teachers

- Evie Ames joined the Purdue QuarkNet Center
- Made plans for the cosmic ray detector

2006 |
- Todd Millar, Jon Johnson, Rob Spencer, and Bruce Ryan, joined the Purdue QuarkNet Center
- Returned to FermiLab for a day
- During the school year, Physics 290 students completed the construction of the cosmic ray detector and programmed the software to run the circuit board. They also took the detector to two local classrooms so that students could take data.

- Matt Carlson and Joe Heidenreich joined the Purdue QuarkNet Center
- Summer Participants worked to become familiar with the cosmic ray detector constructed in 2006
- Wrote labs for use in the classroom
- Built the second cosmic ray detector

- LeRoy Castle joined the Purdue QuarkNet Center
- Bob Peterson from QuarkNet (Fermilab) provided 3 days of e-lab
training
- Teachers assembled 3rd cosmic ray detector
- Teachers developed plans for using the cosmic ray detectors
during the summer and in the 2008-09 academic year
