Our gas system is entirely made of stainless steel and metallic materials and no organic materials are used. We are especially concerned about unwanted chemical reactions of DME gas with organic materials that could accelerate the aging of the MSGC. Argon and DME have seperate lines and they are mixed before they enter the MSGC. Also equipped are the oxgen and water gauges to check their contents in the gas.
