Information
Accomodations:
Attendees will be staying in Hillenbrand residence hall.
Hillenbrand Hall is located at the corner of Third Street and MacArthur
St in West Lafayette. You can find the location of Hillenbrand by
using the link to Purdue Campus Maps below. Use the second pull down
menu (labeled Cary Quad) to find Hillenbrand. You will be furnished
with 1 towel, 1 washcloth, and
soap at checkin. All rooms have a prepared bed (pillow, linen &
blanket.) There will be daily towel service and weekly linen exchange
available - please check at the Front desk for time & location.
Parking:
Parking at Hillenbrand is behind the building on the southwest side or
in the lot at the corner of MacArthur Street and First Street.
Meals:
Meals will be in Earhart Dining Court which is located across the
street from Hillenbrand residence hall. Plan on having dinner on
Sunday July 16, 2006 at Earhart. Your last scheduled meal will be
breakfast on July 29, 2006.
Meal times are: Breakfast: 7-8:30 am,
Lunch: 11am-1pm, Dinner: 5-6:30
pm. You will be given a dining card upon checkin at the Residence Hall
to use to swipe for your meals.
Getting to
Class: The lecutres will be held in room 3058 in Rawls
Hall. To get to and from classes, there is a free Trolley
available that
picks
up every 15 minutes at the corner of First & MacArthur. You will
need
to
get off at the intersection of Grant & Wood Street and walk one
block
north to Rawls Hall.
Wireless Acces:
You are welcome to bring your laptop computer to Purdue. The
campus is mostly wireless. If you would like wireless access
while at Purdue, we will have it available at the registration/check-in
desk Monday July 17, 2006 at 3058 Rawls Hall.
Location
The workshop will be held at Purdue University in West Lafayette. When making your travel arrangements, please plan to arrive on Sunday July 16, 2006 and to depart on July 29, 2006.
