Professor Ian P.J. Shipsey

Professor Shipsey is an internationally known experimental particle physicist whose research focuses on broken symmetries especially parity (mirror symmetry) violation and charge parity (CP) violation in the weak interactions of elementary particles. Professor Shipsey received a NSF National Young Investigator Award in 1992, a SSC National Fellowship in 1993 and in 1998 received Purdue University's highest award for undergraduate teaching.
