"Recent Results from the Solenoidal Tracker At RHIC (STAR)"

Recent interesting results from the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC), a facility dedicated to the experimental study of matter under extreme conditions, will be shown. Observables at low momentum point towards a source with explosive expansion. Observables at higher momentum allow one to probe this source, with results that may point towards a highly opaque medium. Remaining questions, and the outlook for future STAR measurements, will be discussed.
