Title: What is the "Resistance" of a Molecule?

Abstract:
Recent measurements of the current-voltage characteristics of individual or small groups of molecules has generated a lot of interest in the field of "molecular electronics". In this talk we will review the current status of the field, emphasizing the important conceptual issues in mesoscopic and many-particle physics that it raises.
