Announcements PHYS51500 Fall 2008

For those of you who plan to give a presentation on your selected topic, please have it ready and let me know asap, by Sun 12/07 at the latest.  You will give the presentation on Monday class 12/08. The slots are first come first serve.

Graded exam 1 can be picked up from Rm 144 from Wed 11/26

Exam 2 will be held in class on Dec 10, 3:30pm-5pm in Rm 201 (usual class room).

It will cover mainly Chapters 5-8 (obviously you still need to know the earlier material in chap 1-4 in order to solve problems).

A cheat sheet will be provided. It will be posted before the exam.

Exam#1 will be held in class (3:30-4:45) on Oct. 29.
Review materials: Chap 1-4 and part of Chap 8 of KK so far covered in class.
An equation sheet containing key equations in the summaries of above chapters will be provided.
