Policy Change: Attendance for Lectures
In order to give some incentive to those students who regularly attend the lectures of this course, beginning from Lecture 17 (Monday, Nov. 2), all students who attend the lectures will receive 3 extra credit points each lecture.
There will be 10 more lectures, so a student can earn up to 30 bonus points which can move your letter grade one level up (e.g., B– to B) for most of you. Recall that the maximum possible total score for this course is 750 points.
There will be no make-up for this extra credit for any reason, because students will not be penalized by absences.
