Dear Physics 152 Lab Coordinator:
I am formally applying for an exemption for the current session of Physics 152 Laboratory. I have previously taken Physics 152L and believe that I have earned more than 75%. I would like you to check my old laboratory scores, and, if they are above the 75% (74.9999% will not be accepted) cutoff, please enter these previous grades into my course record for the current session.
I will be sent an email at least three school days after I submit this letter telling me if I have received an exemption. I will continue to participate in the regular PHYS 152L activities and submit them as scheduled while awaiting your ruling on this exemption. If I have not been exempted, I will attend labs and complete the regular activities as scheduled. I realize it is my responsibility to check that the grades posted on CHIP152L are correct at the end of the current session, and will confirm that my old score has been correctly carried forward.
Sincerely,
