After you get the renewed grid certificate, you can export certificate from your browser and install on the local shell account.

 

Renewing a CMS VO

You will receive several email notices before your CMS VO expiring. Please go to this CMS VO site to re-sign your CMS VO as soon as possible. After you re-sign the CMS VO, you can use it to generate a grid proxy immediately.
