Overview

PCN has resources available to all Microsoft Windows users. However these programs are only guaranteed by PCN to work on PCN maintain computers. If your computer is not supported by PCN you may still uses these resources but only use these resources at your own risk. These resources at PCN are group into two catagories:

Print eps files through lpr

Background

Eps (Encapsulated PostScript) is a file standard which many applications use (typically for graphs). On our older backend server hardware, .eps files used to just print without any thought. Exchange Users

PCN recommends that Windows exchange users use Outlook in order to utilize all the features.

Guest PAL Access

Guests of Purdue Faculty may be given temporary PAL access at the request of the Faculty member.

In order to fulfill the request, PCN will need the following information:

* Guest's Full Name

* Guest's E-Mail Address

* Guest's Phone Number

* Dates of Guest's stay

* Sponsoring Faculty Member's Name

ITaP Exchange 2007 Migration

This document provides basic information on the ITaP Exchange 2007 Migration and how it affects Physics users.

What is it?

* Exchange 2007 is an upgraded server system that Exchange users are being moved to over the coming weeks. If you previously used to check your webmail, then this change affects you. If, however, you used or Physics SquirrelMail, then you are not part of this change.
