PAL2.0 Connecting Issue

Sometimes even if all of the settings are correct, PAL2.0 will still fail to acquire a correct DHCP lease. This could be deceptive, because AIRLINK may display that it's connected to PAL2.0 while retaining PAL-INSTRUCTIONS IP. This will prevent you from browsing.

What's a disk quota?

Users of PCN Unix systems do have quotas for their home directories. The disk quota is a limit to how much you can store in your home directory. This ensures that we have sufficient storage for everyone in the building.

* Physics Faculty have a 2 GB quota
* Physics Staff/Students have a 600 MB quota
