| + | One thing a UNIX/Linux user needs to be aware about printing is that many UNIX print dialog boxes, including the print system that is part of the Gnome desktop system in Debian, will default to **A4** size paper instead of U.S. Letter. Gnome-print is actually hard coded to initially default to A4. To change the default simply change the setting to "letter" and print a document. Gnome printing always defaults to the paper size used during the immediately previous print. | ||
