Debian Lenny Firefox Focus Issue

This wiki page is meant to provide a quick workaround to a Debian Lenny issue whereby Firefox (Iceweasel) moves to the current virtual desktop when you click on a link from another application instead of staying on the virtual desktop you left it on.

1. Open Iceweasel
2. Type “about:config” in the address bar without the quotes and hit enter
3. Search for “browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground” and double-click it to change the value to “True”
4. Close the tab and the issue has been fixed.
