My Mathematica license is expiring!

When you launch Mathematica, you may see a “License Expiring” notice. On or after the license expiration date, that message will change to “License Expired.” In either case, click the “Enter Password” button in that dialogue box to bring up the “Personalize Mathematica” screen.

If the License Number and other fields look fine, click 'OK' to proceed to the password screen.

To retrieve your new password, be sure that you're connected directly or via an authenticated VPN session to the Purdue network, then fire up your favorite web browser and visit http://tinyurl.com/72q2l

Copy/paste your MathID from the Mathematica password window into the text box of that web page and press Enter on your keyboard to submit the MathID.

If a password exists for that MathID, it should now be displayed in your browser, from which you can copy/paste it into the Mathematica password box.

If you instead see a message about the MathID not being present, contact PCN with the details. Be sure to include the MathID and the version of Mathematica that you have installed.

If you are no longer using Mathematica on your Purdue-owned computer, let us know and we'll purge your registration and accounting information so you won't be charged the following year.
