Connect to PCN shared directories and ITaP home directories
This article demonstrates how to connect to PCN samba mounts (eg: Gutenberg) from a Mac.
- Go to the Finder
- From the Go menu, choose Connect To Server
- Connect to smb://gutenberg.physics.purdue.edu
- When entering your username/password, use the format ONEPURDUE\username along with your password as shown below.
NOTE: ONEPURDUE\ must be in front of your username and it must be typed in all capital letters.
- Choose your share that you want to mount
You can use this same procedure to connect to your Purdue ITaP home directory. Simply substitute rosetta.ics.purdue.edu for the gutenberg.physics.purdue.edu address.
