Can I access the Purdue Directory as an addressbook in my Email client?
For users of Unix mail readers, both Pine and Mutt are be configured to use Purdue's LDAP directory as an addressbook.
In Mutt:
- Press 'Q' (capital Q) to query the directory
- When prompted, type a name to query
- Select the proper record from the results
In Pine:
In Pine, the Purdue Directory will appear under the 'Addressbooks' menu from the main menu.
