AT&T Wi-Fi Hotspot
If you are an AT&T customer, and have Wi-Fi hotspot included in your plan, you may select attwifi from the wireless connection list around campus, and connect to it. Open a browser. You will then be prompted to either verify your existing account information, or to purchase a $5 (24 hour duration from the time of purchase) a day plan (if non-member, or do not have ATT wifi hotspot service) to use this service. This may be a viable option for those who are not presently affiliated with any academic institution, and would like to get online. Friends, family, friends of friends, in-laws, you name it. Temporary PAL accounts
At the request of a Physics faculty member, faculty guests and visiting scholars may come to room 394 if they wish to obtain temporary Purdue Air-Link account. More information here
